Congratulations to our Valedictorian, Wyatt Hawk, and Salutatorian, Joshua Deland, of the Chesnee High School Class of 2026.

Mr. Hawk plans to attend Clemson University and major in business.

"It not only reflects the work that I have put in, but it reflects the work that many others put in," I'd like to thank my parents and all my family as well as the teachers at Chesnee and the guidance counselors."

Mr. DeLand plans to attend Gardner-Webb University and obtain a Bachelors of Science in Nursing.

"I was glad and happy. I worked hard for this. I was also able to attend Swofford, where I took culinary classes, and be in dual enrollment classes," DeLand said. "I want to thank my parents and Mrs. Cash. She was my 9th grade geometry teacher but worked with me throughout the years. She was one of my lights."
